The site's name comes from Mori's image song, sung by his seiyuu Kirii Daisuke. Translated, the song's title (itsumo soba ni*) means "always near". It's true this is pretty hackneyed expression in Japanese songs, but I also found it was fitting for Mori's personality. Mori is the guy who is always "there", even if he's not the center of attention. In particular, he'll always be serving Mitsukuni and looking out for everyone. He has a very valiant demeanor.
I think it's clear that Mori is calm, cool, and reserved. It's true most of the time he's a man of a few words. But he has a very good heart, as Hatori Bisco-san has indicated to us both through the story and in her own words. I've found this fact is easily forgotten among many fans, so I thought I'd do my best to remind everyone.
*A note about the kanji: I realize the song title can be quite ambiguous, as it's written as "いつも側に", which can be interpreted as "itsumo soba ni" or "itsumo gawa ni". I've also seen both translations, but because the actual song has "itsumo soba ni" in it numerous times, I decided to put two and two together. =P
